1. Summer Palace

2. Chinese Ethnic Culture Park
Join in the Water-Splashing Festival of the Dai People in the Nationalities Park. You guys can splash each other not only for blessing exchange, but also enjoying a ray of cool feeling in the fierce summer.

3. Mutianyu Great Wall
Located in the Beijing suburb, the area of Mutianyu Great Wall is cooller than Beijing center. Everywhere is abundantly verdant and attractive. You will apprciate the grandness of the Great Wall as well as to avoid the crowds and irritation at Badaling.

4. Ming Tombs
Ming Tombs is also situated in Beijing suburb, Changping County, about 50 kilometers northwest of Beijing center. it is a tomb cluster of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), with 13 emperors buried in a complex spreading some 15 square miles.
