1. Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower

The tower is a 468-meter tall, and has three spherical rooms and features three main sightseeing floors. There is also a really great Shanghai history museum on the bottom floor. The major sightseeing floor is the second sphere. The entire structure rests on rich green grassland and gives the appearance of pearls shinning on the jade plate.

2. Jinmao Tower

Jinmao Tower, literally meaning “Gold Luxuriance Building” in Chinese, is a perfect combination of traditional Chinese architectural style and the world’s modern architectural technology. With 88 storeys, it reaches a height of 420.5 meters and 290,000 square meter construction area.

Its first two floors are a capacious and bright lobby. From the 3rd to the 50th floor are spacious offices, which are open-plan with a floor-to-floor height of 4 meters and a floor-to-ceiling height of 2.7m. The 51st and 52nd floors are mechanical rooms. The Grand Hyatt Shanghai Hotel, a world’s tallest 5-star hotel, occupies floors from 53 to 87.

3. Shanghai Ocean Aquarium

Are you interested in sea creatures? Well, proceed to Shanghai Ocean Aquarium for sightseeing. Located near the Oriental Pearl Tower, the aquarium has one of the longest tunnels that takes you through a kelp cave, shark cove and a coral reef.

Many sea animals that you will see, including seahorses, moon jellyfish, spider crabs, sand tiger sharks and thousands of underwater creatures. It is a good places for take your children to visit there.

4. Shanghai Wild Animal Park

The park is split into two areas: a driver-through area and a walking area. The former allows visitors to sit in a bus and see various animals, such as giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, lions, bears, flamingos and more. There are also some animal performance shows and a bird zone.

Walking into the animal performing hall, you are welcomed by all the lovely animal actors. Elephants, dogs, sheep, bears, lions, tigers, monkeys and parrots are eager to present a colorful performance. All of them have superior skills and cooperate well with each other. If your children are fans of animals, taking them to visit there.

5. Century Park

Century Park is a great place to go on the weekend. It is not far from restaurants and cafes, if you need to take a break from the sun.
