Chengdu = Osaka
Spring Airlines plans to launch a direct flight connecting Chengdu, capital city of Sichuan Province, with Osaka, the second largest city in Japan in March. The direct air service between these two cities will cut travel time to 4 hours. The flights will leave Chengdu at 01:10 and arrive in Osaka at 05:05 on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. And the return flights will leave Osaka at 19:20 and arrive in Chengdu on every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Beijing = Birmingham
Hainan Airlines will operate twice a week flights this summer between Beijing, capital of China, with Birmingham, the second largest city in the United Kingdom, right after London. This air route will operate each Friday and Monday, which will starts from July 3 and end on August 28.
Guiyang = Tokyo
China Southern Airline will launch direct flights between Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou Province, and Tokyo in May. This air route will operate two flights each wee. The flights leave Guyang at 20:00 on Tuesday and Friday and arrive at Tokyo on 01:20 (+1 day). And the flights leave Tokyo at 02:20 and arrive at Guiyang at 6:00 every Wednesday and Saturday.
Guangzhou = Auckland
China Southern Airline will increase two direct flights each day between Guangzhou, capital city of Guangdong Province, and Auckland from August 1st, in order to meet the demand of tourists. The flights will increase from 10 per week to 14 per week.
Chinese Mainland = Taiwan
Approved by the mainland authorities, mainland airline will open 493 flights and Taiwan carriers will operate 100 flights. The destinations in the mainland have increased to 55 cities, including many second- and third-tier cities.
Nanning = Seoul
Korean Airline will launch direct flights between Seoul and Nanning, capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from May 11. The flights will run every Monday and Friday, departing from Incheon International Airport in Seoul at 6:55pm and arriving at Nanning Wuxu International Airport at 10:50pm. And the return flights will depart from Nanning at 11:50pm and arrive at Seoul at 4:50 am the next day.
Hong Kong = Manchester
Asia-based Cathay Pacific plans to expand its service between Hong Kong and Manchester from four flights each week to one flight every day.
