Yesterday, on Jan.5th, the 31st Harbin International Ice & Snow Festival officially opens and it lasts to the late February when the activities of ice and snow come to end. During the period, there are four main festivals: New Year 2015, Chinese New Year, Lantern Festival and Skiing Festival. This is the most bustling and festive time for the “Ice City” Harbin.

There are several good places to experience this festival: Ice and Snow World, Zhaolin Park, Sun Island, Harbin City Concert Hall, Harbin City Swimming Pool, Harbin Expo Center, Harbin Engineering University, City Ice Hockey Rink, Wujimi Ski Field, Lake Changling, Jinhewan Wetland Park.
